Project Resource are looking for a Senior Planner within the South East due to a current and expected increase in regional workload for tendering and planning. You will predominantly be required to work on live contracts in our South East region, including Hampshire and Surrey and will be likely based in Hampshire.

Job Description

*Analysing sites & local environments to determine appropriate logistics solutions & resources.

*Using planning computer software (Asta Powerproject).

*Preparing logistics plans including awareness of 4D.

*Writing method statements, incorporating graphics.

*Calculating production outputs, draw up and present plans / programmes.

*Scheduling labour, equipment, temporary works, design information requirements and procurement for each project.

*Monitoring progress throughout the construction process & comparing this with the planned programme.

*Reporting findings & recommending solutions to recover delays.

*Recording relevant events for potential entitlement claims.

*Using graphics and narratives to reflect progress, event impacts and forecasts.

*Liaising with the project / site manager & surveyor throughout the process, making adjustments to project plans as necessary.

*Providing advice & support on planning matters to the project teams; client facing duties.

Requirements

*An understanding of planning processes & activities.

*Proficient experience in software use: Asta Powerproject, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Word.

*Knowledge in MS Project and Primavera is good, but not essential.

*Some knowledge and practice in simple 3D / 4D modelling.

*Knowledge of general construction techniques and methods.

*Health & Safety (CSCS) qualification and training.

*Minimum HNC/HND qualification and demonstrable experience in contract and tender planning.

*Good communication skills, ability to work within a team environment or as an individual and be prepared to respond directly to Clients' requests or enquiries.

Salary

We are looking to pay up to £70,000 plus an excellent benefits package, possibly more for the perfect candidate.
