Spring Technology is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer, to join our client in Sheffield on a long term contract, giving you the chance to help them through a number of infrastructure upgrades over a 2 year period. This is a great opportunity for a 2nd line support analyst or systems engineer, seeking a role which will enable an organisation to modernise their infrastructure as part of a wider refresh. The key part of this role will be migrating from Microsoft Exchange to NHSmail.

This will be an initial 12 month contract, with a pay rate of £17.51 per hour. This equates to a daily rate of £131.32 per day on a 37.5 hour working week.

Our client is offering a long term opportunity for a Systems Engineer to make a real impact within the programme to update the business infrastructure, specifically a migration from Microsoft Exchange to NHSmail. If you can produce analytical reports and work closely with a project team, providing your input into the best solutions to modernise the overall infrastructure, this will be the right role for you.

Essential Skills:

*Experience within Systems Support, 2nd Line Support of Infrastructure Support previously

*Unix and Linux administration experience

*Knowledge of MS Exchange and NHSmail - migration experience is ideal

*Qualifications are preferred, for example MCSE or MCP
