You will be excited and enthused by the opportunity to working with new and emerging technologies and practices to help maintain BBC News as the market leader.

We’re looking for an experienced engineer to join the team and help us take our apps even further developing new user experiences for our UK and global audience.

As a Senior Android Engineer you will be involved with all aspects of the software development lifecycle and be an important member of the team in formulating, influencing and articulating on all technical matters relating to the team. You will have skills to be able pair, coach and mentor other team members and be active in promoting best practices within a software development discipline.

Specifically for Android, knowledge of the following areas is required:
-Android SDK
-Android Support Library
