Senior Developer/Programmer required for a permanent role for an established UK technology company

As a developer you will be involved in a range of projects including developing web applications for a range of customers across multiple industries. The successful Developer/Programmer will work independently and within a team to ensure the smooth delivery of projects.

The client

Established in 1999 the client have provided powerful bespoke online database systems for over 400 clients and have earned a reputation as a company that is trusted and innovative in its approach to solving customer problems. They are looking to bring on a developer/Programmer to assist with current and growing workload.

Technical skills required:

** Solid experience with PHP and MySQL

** Experience with the Laravel framework preferably, or a knowledge of an alternative MVC framework

** Familiarity with Apache, HTML, CSS, and Javascript

Customer skills required:

** We regularly talk to customers via phone / email and fact-to-face meetings

The successful candidate should also have:

** Ability to analyse and problem solve.

** Ability to build working relationships with colleagues, customers, and other technical teams.

** Excellent attention to detail.

** Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Location

As the offices are a rural location it is essential that the successful candidate has their own transport as public transport is very limited. The offices are commutable distance from Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham, Gloucester and Stroud and we are located just 5 minutes off Junction 14 of the M5
