The Service Manager will ensure the maintenance of live service through effective liaison between stakeholders and the managed service provider. The role manages change within the service, and addresses risks and issues as they arise. The role will also liaise with the accreditor of the service.

Role Profile

The Service Manager provides assurance that the contracted deliverables of the service's Managed Service Provider are being met. They will provide support to ensure that live services are being maintained, and will also be responsible for coordinating change activity and ensuring that live service risks and issues are escalated as required. The role will also liaise with the accreditor, and provide a focal point for the management of risk within the wider team.

Key Skills / Experience

* Must have a detailed knowledge of live service support of deployed CIS in an operational context.

* Must have working knowledge of change management processes for deployed CIS.

* Must have demonstrable experience as a risk practitioner and the use of Active Risk Manager.

* Must have a detailed understanding of relevant security policies (e.g. JSP 440).

* Must be able to represent the client at governance meetings related to the service (e.g. chairing monthly management meetings and Change Advisory Board)

* ITIL Foundation

* MSP Practitioner

* MOR Practitioner

* PRINCE2 Practitioner
