Position: Frontend Developer

Location: Manchester

Salary: 40000 - 50000 per annum

Client is an innovative and globally expanding provider of gym software.

We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic Technical Writer. We value people who are technically minded with strong written communication skills, who are eager to provide value to both the customers and internal staff who use the product. In this position your responsibilities will include; creating software, training, and help centre articles, liaising with translators, collating and verifying information, and ensuring a consistent tone and structure to all communications.

Skills:

Experienced: A degree in Computer Science and/or multiple years of experience working on highly developed business critical systems.

Strong communication skills: You can easily communicate problems and solutions with other developers whether it be in person, email or in technical documentation.

Adaptable: Complex problems can arise and requirements can evolve. You understand that priorities can change and can stay focused on the most relevant issues when this happens.

Work hard, play hard: You are serious about your work ethic but always leave time for daily play, whether thats a terrible joke, silly cat GIFs, games, or the pub.

Up to date: You keep up to date with new technologies via conferences and tech blogs.

Problem solver: You look at the most complex of problems as a challenge. Problem? What problem?

Attention to detail: Just one more pixel almost there.

Requirements:

Fundamentals like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS

Strong knowledge of JavaScript design patterns with client-side frameworks such as Angular and React.

Experience with RESTful Services and APIs

Comfortable working in an agile team environment

Knowledge of a version control system (preferably Git)

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility

UX mind-set allowing you to design the best user experience (bonus points: experience in graphic design)

Experience with micro-services is preferable

Non-Negotiable:

Mid-Senior level only.

4+ years minimum experience.

Key skills:
