Security Architect - Application Security | London | Global Tech Firm | £65,000 - £80,000 base + bonus + benefits

They are midway through a huge transformation with unlimited financial backing to create something exceptional. The team is already populated with some excellent minds and now our client is looking to expand with driven, dynamic experts who are enraptured by the science of cyber defence.

As a Security Architect you will be driving the Security Architecture and Design, implementation and optimization for Web, API and Mobile backend applications across the organisation. This will be a global facing role with an initial focus on EMEA growing to international exposure.

As an Application Security Security Architect you will be

* Facilitate and conduct security reviews, threat modelling including deep design reviews throughout the development lifecycle.

* Automate security tools and processes ensuring innovation and advancement strategies that keep pace in the areas of access control, security-in-depth, secure transaction processing, secure coding practices for web and mobile applications.

* Be responsible for overall planning, direction and oversight of multiple projects, products, services or functions.

* Independently formulating direction, design or oversight for the development of major Enterprise-wide programs/ plans that have significant impact on the success of the organization.

As a Security Architect focused on Application Security, my client is looking for someone who has significant experience in building secure applications, preferably payment platforms although this is not essential.

They are also looking for:

* Strong knowledge of deep design review and Secure Development Lifecycle methodologies, Agile based methodologies, middleware platforms, development platforms (Java, C, C++, .NET etc.).

* Experienced hands on SW development in C/Objective-C/C++/Swift/Java

* A proven record of accomplishment in designing security controls for complex web applications with backend services expertise such as API Gateway, Identity and Access Management Services, Data Protection technologies, Security Information Event Management etc.
