SAP Business Analyst - Procurement & Supply Chain

We are looking to recruit a SAP Business Analyst - Procurement & Supply Chain for a new appointment within UK National engineering and support services business based in Portsmouth.

The organisation are a multinational corporation headquartered in the United Kingdom that specialise in support services, managing complex assets and infrastructure in safety, and mission-critical environments.

Working closely with (and reporting to) the Group Procurement Systems & Process Lead, the successful candidate will have expertise in their field, with a deep understanding and knowledge of both Procurement & Supply Chain functional and SAP related activities. They will bring their functional expertise to the SAP Programme transformation (through design, test, implementation and support phases) to support the delivery of new technology and processes across the functions and Business.

Key objectives

* Provision of Procurement & Supply Chain SAP functional expertise

* Gathering business requirements and preparing/leading blueprint design workshops in order to support the required functional and business units solution and process design delivery (through design, test, implementation and support)

* Development and ongoing maintenance of business process documentation in support of the P&SC Functional business process

* Working closely alongside the Procurement & Supply Chain Solution Management team, to ensure co-ownership and alignment of all delivery activities

* Ensure cross-functional and work stream alignment of all end to end process activities

* Support of SAP users across multiple business units, by provision of expertise to Key Users within the function to help embed SAP use into the Shared Service Centre

* Provide specialist experience in the SAP applications

Ariba APC - Ariba Procurement Content Ariba CC - Collaborative Commerce

* Define and share best-practices to support capability building and value delivery

* Implement KPI performance measurement and monitoring

Education & Professional Qualifications

* Business, Financial, Supply Chain Management or Technical undergraduate degree.

Experience & Background

* Proven experience of SAP for Procurement and Supply Chain organisations, within a complex ERP systems and process landscape

* Track record of success in decentralised or distributed organisation structures

* Extensive knowledge of leading Procurement practices, techniques and innovations
