There currently exists the opportunity for tenacious Software Engineers to join their team delivering robust product code and associated tests for a number of related code bases. The roles can be based in Romsey, London or Cheltenham.

The successful candidate will be capable of design and development of Java and/or C++ code ideally with an existing knowledge of other languages including Angular JS, Django, Enterprise Java, Java Script , C, C#, SQL and/or Python .

You will be expected to learn new frameworks and languages and solve challenging problems both in terms of solution capability and performance. Familiarity with both system and unit testing frameworks and test driven development is considered a significant plus.

The most important skills required are;

                                                                                 Sound software engineering skills with knowledge of C++, Angular JS, Django, Java, Enterprise Java, Java Script , C, C#, C++, SQL and/or Python and associated frameworks with an ability to learn new programming languages and frameworks quickly (essential)

                                                                                 Good software engineering abilities with familiarity with concepts such as test driven development, continuous integration and version control (essential)

This role would be suited to an experienced graduate looking for their next career opportunity following their first role after university or a more experienced professional seeking a new challenge.

You will be degree level qualified within an ICT subject and have a real desire to think outside the box. This is a very exciting area within Roke and as such there is real career progression and you will be working at the forefront of cyber technology.

Please Note: Due to the customer base, you will be required to undertake DV clearance to an SIA grade.
