Principle Consultant

A Leading Sciences and Engineering company are recruiting for a Principle Consultant within their Advisory Services. They are currently in the process of creating a high-performing, high value, advice-side consultancy targeted at exploiting the current strategic direction of the UK and International defence customer base alongside driving growth in the adjacent markets of transport, critical infrastructure, oil / gas and energy.

The Principle Consultant will be a leading role in the delivery and growth of their consultancy services.

Key Accountabilities:

* Delivery of high-value consultancy advice to clients, in high-growth and / or strategically important areas / domains

* Lead teams in the delivery of multiple technical consultancy assignments in a client-facing capacity to an exceptionally high standard

* Manage complex engagements across multiple simultaneous clients, acting as primary point of contact for clients and decision makers shaping solutions to meet their needs

* Lead business improvement initiatives that span the full range of capabilities including the development of new capabilities, services and business models

* Provide conceptual & innovative thought leadership in order to develop solutions to complex problems

* Identify and lead multiple new business opportunities, deliver major / complex bids and ensure sales closure

* Develop, grow and maintain a network of senior level clients within the UK and overseas

Key Capabilities/Knowledge:

* Delivery of sales and utilisation

* Project / assignment delivery to agreed metrics

* Quality of technical output

* Sales pipeline & execution

* Development of innovative higher-value offerings

* Customer satisfaction and customer retention

Experience:

* The individual should be an experienced, proactive and robust consultant with excellent communication and commercial skills.

* The individual will have a proven track record of developing and maintaining high level stakeholders.
