Quality Standards and Systems Consultant Birmingham £60k
Are you an advanced product quality planning professional with strong experience in developing and executing manufacturing product introduction processes in 1 or more of the following expertise, APQP & Core Tools, PPAP, IATF16949, AS9100, ISO9001:2015 and VDA at a Senior Engineer level?
Can you use your experience to work with suppliers to develop and implement robust and structured new product introduction procedures?
Can you exhibit a deep understanding of manufacturing product introduction procedures including core tools and an ability to train and coach others to ensure a high performance safe launch process?

Quality Standards and Systems Consultant Birmingham £60k
Huxley Engineering and a Global Name in the Automotive Industry are looking to recruit a Quality Standards and Systems Consultant on a permanent basis for their offices in the Birmingham area, owing to succession planning within the organisation and project workload.
Responsibilities of Quality Standards and Systems Consultant Role:
Provide consultancy for the implementation of APQP & Core Tools, PPAP, IATF16949, AS9100, ISO9001:2015 and VDA.
Maintain an excellent level of competency in the APQP & Core Tools, PPAP, IATF16949, AS9100, ISO9001:2015 and VDA.
Play an active part in customer relationship management and lead progression
Essential Requirements for Quality Standards and Systems Consultant Role:
Degree such as Engineering, Materials Science, Manufacturing Systems or equivalent
Capability and experience to deliver training and coach teams in safe launch procedures such as APQP and the Core Tools including: FMEA, SPC, MSA, PPAP and 8D problem solving
A minimum of five years of industrial experience, including management responsibility and strong Automotive/Aerospace experience
Ability to lead and work with teams, building relationships at all levels within an organisation
A strong customer focus with a track record of delivering improved performance
VDA or other quality system audit certification
Working understanding of Lean Continuous improvement tools, including 5S, 7 Wastes, Visual Management, Standard Work, Line Balance, Set Up Improvement, Problem Solving, A3 thinking.
