Excellent role on offer for CAD Technician/draughtsperson who wants to be involved in unique, innovative projects for an industry leading company that has won awards for their staff training and development.

Are you a CAD Technician/Draughtsperson with experience using 2D CAD software? Do you have a working knowledge of the construction industry?

Established over 3 decades ago this company specialises in supplying equipment and services into the Events industry. With a client base spanning the globe and a reputation for delivering quality solutions the company are busier than ever and require a skilled CAD technician to join their team.

In this role you will be using 2D AutoCAD to create drawings/designs of temporary structures in steel and aluminium. Working within a team of design technicians you will be given a variety of individual projects and team based projects to work on.

The position would suit a CAD Draughtsperson/Technician from the construction industry who is looking to work on a wide variety of projects (some of which have been patented for their sheer innovation).

The Role:

* Designing a range of staging, rigging and temporary structures in steel and aluminium (2D Draughting)

* Individual design projects and team based projects.

* Using 2D AutoCAD

* 100% Design office based in near Bedford

* £26'000 - £28'000 + Training + Pension + Excellent Benefits

The Person:

* Experience using 2D AutoCAD in a Construction environment

* Must be willing to commute to Bedford
