Electrical Engineer (Maintenance and installation) - Workshop and offshore

£14 per hour (workshop hours) £23per hour (offshore) - Overtime available at X1.3 & X1.5- 33 days holiday, Pension scheme, Bonus scheme, and life insurance

Are you an Electrical Engineer? Do you have experience of general site engineering of electrical/mechanical equipment including assembly, maintenance and testing? Are you looking for your next immediately available permanent job with excellent benefits? My client are a leading multi-disciplined engineering corporation, Working on service and repair of electro-mechanical equipment. They are seeking an electrical engineer to carry out site and workshop based work including fault diagnosis.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, a valid qualification (City and guilds or equivalent) an active 17th edition and a strong background in electrical engineering on oil and gas equipment including experience offshore.

The role:

*Carry out incoming inspections of electrical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunction

*Provide site support for various equipment including motors, generators and other rotating equipment including disassembly, assembly, installation, removal, inspection, part replacement, measurement and testing

*Carry out fault diagnosis on electrical machines

The person:

*Strong background in electrical engineering, particularly in electrical rotating and static equipment

*Holding a recognised electrical qualification (City and guilds or similar)

*Previous experience in electro-mechanical rotating equipment within oil and gas indurstry
