Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (FMCG / Heavy Engineering)

£14.50 - £16.50 P/H (LTD/Umbrella)

Monday to Friday (40hrs per week - time ½ paid on all hours over the 40hrs)

6 month rolling contract

Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer from A Manufacturing / Heavy Engineering background? Are you looking for an immediately available, days based, long term contract role with plenty of overtime available paid at time 1/2 at a reputable Heavy Engineering, Manufacturing organisation?

This role will suit a time served Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer who has spent most of their career within the Manufacturing or Heavy Engineering industry looking to take on a long term contract with a potential for a permanent position if wanted.

With over 40 years proven experience in their respected field, my client specialise in the manufacturing of one of kind fibre-based products and since its inception has become one of the largest providers within the UK

As a leading manufacturing/FMCG company, the main purpose of your role as the Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Maintenance Engineer is to have a hands on approach in the installation & maintenance of various industrial/plant equipment, whilst also providing a full engineering services across the site

The Role

*Working on large heavy plant equipment (I.e. Silos, Grinders, Rotating Machinery)

*Mechanical Maintenance on Heavy Engineering equipment

*Immediately available

The Person:

*Must have experience on heavy/industrial machinery (i.e. milling machines, concrete machinery, grinders, mining machinery)

*Mechanically biased individual

*Wanting an immediately available contract role which is paying time ½ for all hours worked over the 40hrs per week
