PMO Manager - Agile and Prince 2

PMO Manager is required to join an expanding industry name in the West Midlands on a permanent basis. The role offers a salary of up to £60,000 plus benefits and the chance to join a company highly regarded within the Energy industry.

Essential Skills & Experience

* Lengthy background working in projects, including significant experience in delivering software using Agile

* In-depth understanding of project governance, methodologies and best practice.

* Experienced in successfully rolling out and embedding processes, change management and communicating change.

* Hnads on approach, with a track record of developing skills and capabilities and building and high-performance teams.

* Excellent stakeholder management skills, capable of building confidence in the project PMO, promoting the value of the team, and comfortable working at board level, presenting to senior management, directors and C-Suite.

* Great technical comprehension spanning a broad range of project types, including billing/sales/CRM systems, building moves, owned projects.

* Experience in working with PPM platforms, reporting and administration of resources.

* Prince2 Practitioner.

Desirable Skills & Experience

* An in depth understanding of the UK energy supply industry

* Experience working in a number of different project management disciplines

Day to day role:

As PMO Manager you will have responsibilities across all UK projects and programmes and will be tasked with the ownership of establishing, standardising and continuously improving all processes within the change team. You will create and deliver a plan to establish best in class governance processes, creating projects off the back of this, and then guide large complex programmes, demonstrating and coaching others on best practice in project delivery. You will be responsible for key parts of the delivery process, such as project requests whilst also leading the PMO and support delivery teams in the transition to Agile software development process.
