A global manufacturing company based in the Canterbury area, are recruiting for an experienced production manager with an eye for process improvement. This fast growing company are looking for a production manager to supervise and manage their manufacturing assembly lines.

As manager of the production department, you will be responsible for improving productivity, maintaining quality and meeting customer requirements on time. Reporting directly to the Operations Manager, it's imperative that you have a strong continuous improvement & lean manufacturing background and are used to medium- fast paced manufacturing environments.

Key experiences required:

* Previous production & manufacturing management experience

* Strong Continuous improvement/ lean experience

* Ideally used to working in a medium- fast paced manufacturing environment

This certain individual must have good communication skills and capable of working closely with colleagues at all levels of the company and feel comfortable with getting hands on with the shop floor.
