2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer - Global Broadcaster

Up to £25 per hour
Our client is an international media network dedicated to giving a voice to the voiceless in some of the world’s most unreported locations. Built on a foundation of honesty, independence and diversity, their correspondents work continuously to find and cover the stories that matter.
Now, they are looking for a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer to join them as a contractor and work as part of their highly-skilled team at the Shard.
As a 2nd / 3rd Line Support Engineer, you will:
- Support end users, servers and systems
- Provide a mixture of 2nd and 3rd line support
- Troubleshoot basic network problems
- Complete change management activities
- Handle telephone queries
- Work alone and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:
- Previous experience in a technical support role
- Windows Server build, virtualisation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting experience
- User and desktop support and administration experience, including image deployment
- A track record of supporting business continuity, images, backups and recovery
- Knowledge of networking, including firewalls, and the ability to troubleshoot basic network problems
- A degree level qualification in IT (or equivalent experience)
Our client is looking to hear from candidates with experience as a 2nd Line Support Engineer, 3rd Line Support Engineer, System Engineer, IT Support Engineer, Technical Support Engineer, Technical Support Analyst, System Support Engineer or Service Desk Engineer.

This is a full time role, including some weekend and late shifts.
