My client is looking for a Technical Project Manager. The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing cross-functional areas of product development. This position serves an essential liaison role between the senior management, product management, UI design, development, development operations and architecture. In partnership with the delivery managers, the Technical Project Manager will manage all aspects of projects through the full software development lifecycle. You will work in their modern offices in Florence. Fast paced international environment.

The successful candidates will be experienced project/program managers who have strong experience in delivering complex projects and in driving organisational change around process innovation and improvement in a multinational organisation. They will be familiar with lean practices and agile software delivery methodologies and will have a strong collaborative approach to enable the organisation to continue to achieve ambitious product and product development objectives while continuing to grow the organisation. They need to be able to work across an organisation to influence the right behaviours and win support for the project and process changes required to meet the company's goals.

5+ years project management managing Software Projects

Agile development methodologies and managing complex projects in a LEAN, SCRUM or KANBAN software development environment

Proven ability to manage a portfolio of work across multiple projects and teams

Demonstrated ability to think strategically when planning, managing teams and processes

Takes accountability for all project management aspects and works effectively and closely with the delivery managers

Interpersonal skills and influence to accomplish work without formal authority and to ensure optimal team performance

Excellent communication and customer service skills, which enable successful collaboration with executive level stakeholders

Strong experience facilitating project team meetings, cross-functional communication and decision making, and ensuring alignment with internal and external stakeholders

Sound judgement, problem solving, and collaboration in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions to problems

Ability to work effectively with cross-functional or horizontally aligned teams

Experience working on SaaS products - advantageous

Experience supervising projects involving Big Data or research or machine learning technologies - advantageous
