JavaScript Developer

Development/ Developer/ JavaScript/JS/ HTML/ CSS/Bootstrap/ Leicester/ Permanent/£DOE

A prestigious client of ours is currently looking to hire a JavaScript Developer to join the business. Based in Leicester you will help them to achieve their target of updating the mainframe. The project will include converting multiple screens to single page applications.

Key Responsibilities:

*To create JavaScript Single Page Applications realising the user requirements.

*Working with mainframe backend developers to design RESTful APIs and ensure data is shared between each layer correctly.

*Investigating bugs identified in testing, including bug resolution and feedback to the test team.

*Working from user requirements to create design documentation; to include wireframes and detailed technical specifications to allow the development team to create applications that are business critical, scalable and fit for purpose.

*To work within the development life cycle creating clean, robust and reusable code.

Skills and Qualifications:

*In depth programming experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS Frameworks and JSON.

*Ideally you will have exposure to Angular and React.

*Experience of Object Orientated programming practices.

*Experienced in working in Agile and Scrum methodologies.

*Knowledge of Aurelia would be beneficial but not essential.
