A market leading Defence organisation is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Engineer to take on a permanent position ASAP. The company is highly regarded for its employee recognition and vital position in today's market place. Communications, Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (CISR) is an Engineering Services business whose primary business roles are systems integration and support of military communications and intelligence systems.

The main responsibilities of the role are as follows:

To provide Project Engineering Support in line with the Matrix Management to all areas of the existing and future CISR Projects and Business Development activities. In order to execute the roles and associated responsibilities, the post holder will need to have a varied level of knowledge in the following disciplines but not be limited to:

* Project Engineering & Management awareness

* Development of Work Breakdown Structures;

* Production & Maintenance of Project Schedules

* Estimating, and Budget Control;

* Production of various project documentation;

* Analysis and Performance Reporting;

* Configuration Control;

* Company Process & Procedures;

* Change Management;

* Resource Management;

* An awareness of Risk Management techniques

The successful candidate will display the following skills, experience and qualifications:

* The post would suit someone seeking a career within Project Management.

* A proficient user of MS Office 2010 Applications;

* A broad knowledge of Project Management techniques and activities

* Ability to disseminate key information from any type of document

* Ability to capture project information and present it in easy to understand formats

* Professionally astute and able to use own initiative to maximum effect Ability to produce high quality technical outputs

* Good report writing and communication skills

* Security and Commercially aware

* Strong organisational and management skills;

* A technically capable individual;

* Ability to operate as an effective team member

* Minimum ONC in an engineering discipline, or Business qualification (Diploma in management minimum) OR 3 years' experience in a Project engineering environment. Working towards or achieved APMP or equivalent qualification in project management preferred
