Solutions Developer - LAMP, Joomla - Inside IR35

The Solutions Developer will be responsible for leading the design, development and support of the Trust's digital applications. This will include, but is not limited to;

* The staff intranet, which comprises of a number of Joomla! CMS based websites.

* Public facing trust websites, built on a number of different CMS systems.

* Trust wide web applications, both internal and public facing.

* Trust wide patient record management system

We require a fullstack developer with experience of the following:

* Experience of application design, development or support

* Experience of Web technologies (e.g. web APIs, XML, JavaScript, PHP, Linux, Apache, Joomla etc)

* Experience of emerging technologies such as mobile apps, cloud based services, web apps, social media

* Experience of working with and utilising Open Source development software

* Experience of working to coding best practice and code version control

* Ability to author complex technical specifications which are appropriate to the IT literacy level of the recipient

* Proven development background using PHP

* Previous experience of managing MySQL and/or MSSQL databases

* Detailed understanding of HTML, CSS, XML

* Front end development skills using JavaScript including jQuery. Dynamic page manipulation using Ajax, and JSON
