Business Analyst, Software, Remote Working This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced, software-focused Business Analyst, to join an innovative company who have recently moved their head office to Oxford.  Working predominantly from home as part of a fully distributed technical team, the Business Analyst is a new role, due to expansion following the launch of the next generation of my client's products.The RoleWorking to support an innovative product encompassing web, mobile and device, the Business Analyst will be working with internal and external customers to define and document requirements, before then coordinating with Project Managers, Developers, QA, etc., to ensure that software is delivered to the needs of the business.The Company and BenefitsDelivering their technology-driven solutions to a global client base, my client has used technology to disrupt and revolutionise the logistics and supply chain business, increasing service, whilst reducing cost.  As one of the fastest growing technology companies in the UK, there are great opportunities for personal growth and progression.With offices in Oxford, Coventry and Milton Keynes, my client works hard to maintain a great working atmosphere, providing flexible hours to total a 37.5 hour week and home-working opportunities, whilst offering 25 days holiday, rising to 30 days and a pension contribution.What do I need?My client seeks an experienced, software-focused Business Analyst and whilst full domain training will be provided where necessary, the skills and experiences that are going to be of most interest and relevance include:

'€¢Strong business analysis skills, including knowledge of user stories, use cases, sequence diagrams, UML, etc. as well as keen business process design skills'€¢A solid technical background/grounding, so as to be able to take into account what will be required by the development team when eliciting requirements'€¢Specific experience of eliciting software requirements, and of the full software development lifecycle'€¢Familiarity ideally with both Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies'€¢Experience of operating in a Business Analyst capacity across a broad range of products - web, mobile and/or device'€¢An understanding of user acceptance testing (UAT)
