A global engineering company are looking to recruit an Embedded Software Engineer to join their expanding team.

As the Embedded Software Development Engineer you will be involved in all stages of the software development life-cycle from requirements capturing to release validation. Responsibilities will include:

* Designing, coding, testing, maintaining and documenting software for a range of control and monitoring systems.

* Capture and document requirements for new software features and review and seek approval from stakeholders.

* Design, develop, test, maintain and support embedded software for new and existing products.

* Develop and support of board support packages and device drivers for embedded RTOS and Linux

* Produce required project design and test documentation in line with company standards.

* Develop test harnesses, test scripts and automation for software validation.

* Provide internal/external customer support for new and existing projects

Key Skills/Experience Required:

* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

* Software development using C/ C++

* Embedded RTOS (ThreadX, MQX)

* Agile software development methodology

* Demonstrate an organised approach, with close attention to detail

* Ethernet networks (TCP/IP & UDP)

* Software Testing (Unit/Integration/System)
