My Edinburgh based client are looking to bring on a Data Analyst to join their growing team. As a specialist in their field, they offer the chance to work within a strong technical environment whilst having the opportunity to work with globally known brands.

Responsibilities

* Working on client sites, liaising to understand requirements and provide a suitable solution

* Solve business problems through predictive modelling, customer segmentation, clustering, text analytics, speech analytics etc.

* Develop analytic solutions to support business initiatives on topics such as customer experience/ acquisition/ profitability, and value etc.

* Construct analytic data sets using languages such as SQL, SAS, R or Python

* Create business cases for analytic projects

* Proactive and creative in designing and deploying analytical solutions

Key Skills

* Predictive Modelling

* Clustering

* SQL

* SAS

* R or Python

* Advanced Excel, able to write VBA code

* Advanced PowerPoint, able to deliver high quality presentations to clients

* Analytic Tools such as R, SAS, SPSS, Angoss, Portrait/ Spectrum Miner
