IT Service Manager - Established Animal Charity (Contract)
Burford, Oxfordshire
c£40,000 DOE Plus Pension Scheme, Employee Assistance Programme, Company Sick Pay, Life Insurance (after probationary period)
Our client is one the UK’s leading rehoming organisations for animals. They support sick, injured and homeless pets and care for more than 40,000 animals every year through their rehoming, veterinary and education programmes.
The charity is on a mission to rehome 20,000 pets by 2020, and to achieve this, their organisation needs to operate to the best of its ability. As such, our client is looking for an IT Service Manager to join them on a 12 month contract and establish their IT Service Management function.
As the IT Service Manager, you will:
- Lead, support and develop a team of four Helpdesk Support Analysts
- Optimise the Service Desk function
- Identify core services and establish IT service management tools, OLAs and SLAs
- Implement measures to ensure services meet business needs
- Work with colleagues to formalise the Incident, Change, Problem and Release processes
- Develop the Service Management Tool based on good ITIL practice
Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:
- Demonstrable experience in a service management role
- Experience of defining and establishing Service Level Agreements
- Practical experience of establishing or transforming a Service Desk function
- Substantive customer and supplier management experience
- The ability to create and implement service management policies and procedures
- An ITIL V3 certification (or equivalent)
- A degree level qualification (or equivalent experience)
