Business Analyst - SAP Hybris, eCommerce, Retail

Duration: 6 Months

Location: Maidenhead

Travel will be required to the US for a 5 week period.

Job Summary:

The SAP hybris Commerce Cloud BA will elicit and map business requirements through the use of workshops with the business users and support UAT and Hypercare. The candidate must have excellent knowledge of SAP hybris features, especially working with commerce suite B2B accelerators. Some hands on experience of installation, configuration of OOTB features and use of Hybris back office systems. Work with business to define proposition MVP and support the prioritisation of backlogs. Work with development teams to support effort estimation. Ensure that quality practices are embedded early within delivery teams Management and delivery of the onsite SAP Hybris solution(s).

Key Responsibilities:

* Ensure requirements are understood and clearly documented, as well as leading, planning and executing the testing and UAT phases through to implementation.

* Work closely with the business product owners, IT delivery manager, internal/external IT teams to successfully deliver successful digital propositions. Must show proactivity and great communications skills, as well as being friendly and outgoing.

* Build and maintain effective relationships with the product teams, IT teams and other Third Parties

* Elicit and document business requirements through the use of workshops with the Business users in both agile frameworks (Epics, Features, Stories) and where required Business specification documents.

* Understand the as-is and to-be business and functional processes. Accountable for ensuring successful transition to future processes

* Work with business to define proposition MVP and support the prioritisation of backlogs.

* Work with development teams to support effort estimation

* Create test scenarios and scripts, execute tests and raise, triage & manage defects through the defect management tooling (Jira and TFS desirable), driving through resolution with third parties

* Document and manage any change requests that arise through any of the project phases

* Support the business teams, by leading/planning UAT phase and providing training

* Support the solution through cutover and hypercare phases

* Communicate progress, and escalate risks and issues to delivery manager and project managers

* Work with other eCommerce project teams to ensure dependencies with other projects are communicated and managed

Requirements of the Role:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in a business systems analyst or technical BA role working within an eCommerce function (preferably within a retailer).

* Solid all-round understanding of eCommerce web platforms, specifically Hybris (ideally certified Hybris BA)

* Proven experience of integrating an eCommerce platform into an ERP system

* Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams and other suppliers.

* Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills

* Strong leadership skills - guides, inspires and motivates departmental team and stakeholders, creating a clear vision and set of deliverables

* Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to prioritise workloads, while meeting all deadlines in a fast paced environment

* Can-do attitude - thinks ahead; takes ownership, follows through and goes the extra mile

* Ability to find viable solutions which may be impacted by technical constraints

* Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle

* Able to work strongly as part of a team or individually

* Customer centric and customer driven

* Ability to transition rapidly and successfully into a project which is already in-flight
