Based in the beautiful county of Cambridgeshire the Senior Power Electronics Engineer will be joining an established organisation at their R&D facility which is focused on the research and development of power electronics technology.

The Senior Power Electronics Design Engineer will be responsible for the design of power electronics and motor control technology aimed towards variable speed drives for the industrial sector. Other responsibilities will also include; the design of SMPS's, EMC Filtering, and IGBT gate drives design and protection.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering and a proven background in the following:

- Variable frequency drives.

- SMPS.

- Control theory for motor control.

- Embedded firmware (C)
