MI Test Analyst

An organisation based in the heart of Birmingham City Centre are seeking an MI Test Analyst to join their globally recognised business.

They are looking for a MI Test Analyst who will be focused on the Back End Testing, who has experience of ETL, data warehousing or data migration testing and who has an understanding of the BI Stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS). Your key role will be to perform migration, transformation and analytics testing on their in house data warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

* Perform detailed manual testing as part of day to day operations using industry standard techniques.

* Write and execute test cases and enforce test procedures where none exist.

* Liaise with the project teams to ensure the logic and rules used to populate the data warehouse, within data driven systems and in reporting output meet the specification.

* Document faults and liaise with developers until the deliverable is ready for release.

Key Skills Needed:

* Backend testing experience

* MS SQL Server T-SQL Scripting

* Understanding of SSRS, SSIS, SSAS

* Experience of ETL, data warehouse or data migration testing
