Join this multi award-winning web design agency with a passion for great customer service and delivering effective websites for their customers.
This is an interesting and varied position, working with clients across all sectors.
They are looking for a PHP Developer / Web designer who is keen to work in a fast-paced small team environment.
The successful candidate will need a good knowledge of PHP and MySQL, ideally with some experience of both older code and modern frameworks. Any experience with WordPress/ WooCommerce will also give you a great advantage when applying.
The successful candidate will be organised, reliable and be able to communicate confidently with team members and clients.
Essential Key Requirements
- You have excellent spoken and written English and good communication.
- Already live within a 45 minute commute of the workplace in North Hertfordshire, remote working is not an option with this role.
- You have at least 2 years experience in Web Design / Development.
- You're a proficient Developer with an good knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
- You have a good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3.
- You have a reasonable knowledge of WordPress and WooCommerce..
Beneficial skills
- You have may have some experience using MVC frameworks.
- You understand hosting and domain names to a reasonable level.
- You may benefit from having experience with integrating APIs and Payment Gateways.

Compensation details
Competitive starting salary (£22,000 - £35,000 depending on experience).
