2nd Line Support Data Analyst | SQL experience required

A well established software company is looking for an experienced Support Data Analyst to join their team due to continued growth and success, and various internal promotions.

The company prides itself in being a highly motivated and dedicated support function and so they are looking for candidates that have similar experience and are willing to go the extra mile.

Key responsibilities:

*Provide high quality technical support and user assistance to customers and other staff by working with a team of support analysts to handle incoming customer requests via e-mail, telephone or web portal.

*Be a senior point of escalation for issues and manage the appropriate priorities and required actions.

*Ensure that all customer requests are logged, controlled and monitored whilst handling complex customer issues to achieve prompt resolution, giving timely and accurate updates throughout the process.

*Running SQL scripts on MS SQL Servers.

*Writing SQL scripts to correct data.

*Have strong SQL Infrastructure/Administration skills, being able to write complex queries in an appropriate way.

*Contribute to the maintenance of product release notes and distribution of product manuals.

*Help maintain and manage central knowledge base libraries for the benefit of the team and the standardization of responses to customer.

*Be responsible for dedicated client relationships whilst contributing to the attainment of internal and external KPI and SLA compliance.

* Providing updates and detailed product release information.

Key skills required:

*Experience in support system and ticket management.

*Good IT skills including experience of Microsoft Windows (XP, 2K3, Vista & Windows 7), Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Visio) and good working knowledge of Microsoft SQL 2K/2K5/2K8/2K12 Server.

*Excellent organisational and communication skills (written and verbal) at all business levels, with initiative, resourcefulness and proven experience in providing superior Customer Support and Service.

*The ability to prioritise and adapt to changing circumstances whilst possessing composure and diplomacy to build rapport.

*The ability to work in a pressured environment dealing with challenging customers at times, taking on large amounts of information such as bespoke products and services, and multitask with high workloads and moving targets.

*Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in client facing roles with the ability to liaise and ensure relationships are kept strong.

*Flexible approach with excellent time management, planning and organisational skills.
