Software Architect
Leeds city centre
Up to £70,000 + benefits
Spring Technology is seeking a Software Architect to join our market leading client in Leeds city centre.
Within this role you will work closely with the client, project and service delivery management teams. You will be required to provide analysis of new and existing systems - by reviewing current technical documentation, source code and configuration. You and your team will be required to assess the current architecture, technologies, security and platforms and to produce technical reports for the client and project teams.

s a Software Architect you will be
*Working on a variety of projects with a number of well-known national agencies.
*Involved with cloud migration programmes, greenfield or brownfield application development at scale, advising customers of optimal uses of technology to fit their needs
*Supporting analysis activities, you will have development experience in a variety of languages and technologies, primarily the .NET development stack, together with cloud-based technologies such as Azure or AWS and knowledge of current open source development toolsets.
*Responsible for guiding and mentoring technical team members, helping them grow and achieve their goals.
To be a successful Software Architect you will have
*Experience of creating and successfully delivering enterprise level software solutions based on the Microsoft development stack (C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Visual Studio, SQL Server)
*Experience of working in Agile teams, ideally on customer premises
*Experience of acting as a technical lead where you are responsible for the technical, and in some aspects, functional design of the system
*Track record working with collaboration and software life cycle tool sets (eg JIRA, VSTS, GIT)
