Head of Commercial (Permanent) Job Location - United Kingdom -- England -- West Midlands - North West Subject: Head of Commercial - Principle Commercial Manager - Interview slots Tuesday 27th MarchPermanent opportunity for a Head of Commercial with experience as a Principle Commercial Manager and Senior Quantity Surveyor based in the West Midlands, North West and North East. The positions are commutable from Coventry, Birmingham, Rugby, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Manchester, Wirral, Warrington, Liverpool, Newcastle. What will this role involve? '€¢Work closely with the leadership team to develop, implement, monitor and review the commercial deliverables in the business to meet the market strategy in the business including, inter alia, the organisational structure for commercial '€¢Negotiate any performance deductions with the Client, seeking relief to minimise deductions where possible'€¢Assisting the Legal team in identifying issues, preparing reports and assist with Adjudications and litigations with the Client'€¢Negotiate the relevant issues with customers that is important to their area '€¢Coach and develop the senior commercial staff under their influence to enable them to grow and develop their futures and the succession of others to replace them '€¢Develop and enhance commercial liaison and influence with trade organisations, and key commercial groups '€¢Implement commercial opportunity and risk strategy, including the supply chain arrangements and put in place the processes to ensure that such commercial opportunities and risks are managed effectively '€¢Develop and implement commercial awareness training, be commercially responsible for the value and cash recovery of a division/business/contract What are we looking for? '€¢Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or equivalent; BSc (Hons) in commercial management or equivalent '€¢Holder of valid UK driving licence, strong commercial acumen and personal determination & enthusiasm to drive dynamic change '€¢Clear understanding of the importance of robust business processes and systems and a strong commitment to quality '€¢Outstanding leadership skills and ability to build an effective team, outstanding communication skills, with good stakeholder management '€¢Environmental awareness for managers, visible felt leadership My client would offer a competitive package depending on experience but would pay the right individual upward of are looking to pay a salary of £75,000 - £85,000 plus benefits including a car allowance and pension scheme.They are looking to line up interviews from Tuesday 27th March and the interview process is usually a two-stage process with two directors.Please contact Chloe Jones at [email protected] for more details.
