Job Title: Data Scientist

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: £600 - £750pd

Location: Hinckley (Some travel to Coventry)

The role:

Our leading client requires a Data Scientist to develop a predictive/prescritive customer experience model using machine learning, statistical, algorithmic, mining and visualization techniques.

Main Tasks:

The data scientist will work closely with key stakeholders to turn data into critical information and knowledge that can be used to make sound customer experience decisions. Other responsibilities include providing data that is congruent and reliable.

They need to be creative thinkers and propose innovative ways to look at problems. They will need to validate their findings using an experimental and iterative approach. Also, they will need to be able to present back their findings to the business by exposing their assumptions and validation work in a way that can be easily understood by their business counterparts

Key Skills:

*Demonstrated experience using R, Python, Rapidminer, Alteryx, tableau or similar to analyse, transform and visualize big data

*Practical implementation of the CRISP DM prcess

*Expertise in Data Management Capability Framwork

*Deep understanding of Machine Learning theory and practice including Linear Algebra, Regression, Logistic Regression, Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, Recommender Systems

*Must have familiarity with additional disciplines such as Natural Language Processing, Robotic Process Automation and Voice Based Chatbot

*2+ year of machine learning experience

*Msc or higher in computer science, physics, statistics, applied mathematics or related field.
