Founded in 1984, our client is a software decision support company that provides software for the long-term safety monitoring of chronic disease. An opportunity has now arisen for an enthusiastic Technical Support Advisor to join their team.
As a Technical Support Advisor, you will work to our client’s quality management systems and undertake a wide variety of tasks to support customers, the sales process, the specification, the installation, configuration and testing of our software.
You will help initially by providing customer technical support for our software systems, then will progress to helping make changes and improvements to our software and finally working on new developments.

To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A good understanding of computers and networking
- An excellent telephone manner
- A degree (or equivalent) or another technical qualification
Experience of writing programming code such as SQL, HTML or JavaScript and databases would be beneficial to your application. However, this is not essential, as full training will be provided to candidates without an IT background.
As a Technical Support Advisor, you will also need an interest in the bigger picture of advancing the product portfolio and problem solving as opposed to simply pursuing an interest in particular technologies. You’ll also need a people-focused attitude and strong communication and problem-solving skills.
