Lead Project Manager - Up to £80k - Technology/Gaming/eCommerce industry

My client are an online gaming company, who are looking for a Lead Project Manager to join their delivery team. This role requires someone who has a strong background in delivering technical and business projects/programmes. In addition to being hands on, they are looking for someone who is also able to take a step back and see the bigger picture, to add value from a leadership perspective. You will be expected to working closely with the Head of Delivery, to create and implement a strategy for the project team that is in line with business goals and the rest of the delivery area.

Responsibilities:

* Management of the Project Management team

* End to End Programme Management

* Understand and incorporate the necessary/relevant compliance and policies relevant to the Gaming industry

* Develop effective project governance in line with best practise

* With Project team, develop and maintain quarterly projects road map

* Provide visibility to the Head of Delivery of any on going issues, risks and progress

Key Requirements:

* Previous experience managing a Project Management team of at least 3/4 individuals

* Experience working with Agile methodologies

* Previous experience working within the gaming industry is desirable but not necessary

* Around 8 years Programme/Project Management experience working on complex programmes and dealing with large scale projects

* Ability to use an appropriate delivery methodology as appropriate

* Strong stakeholder management skills
