We have a vacancy for an experienced and self-motivated Application Analyst with strong Linux skills.

We will consider candidates from a variety of application support or development backgrounds but a service management background and exposure to ITIL would be helpful. You’ll be focused on ensuring our Linux based systems, such as our Virtual Learning Environment (Moodle), are well managed and supported, therefore good iscsi, lvm and mysql knowledge is a prerequisite. We use a wide range of technologies including Linux, SharePoint, Office365 and Azure.

To be successful you will have strong technical and problem solving skills in a wide range of technologies. You’ll also be enthusiastic about continuous service improvement and be a strong advocate to develop our existing policies and procedures.

You’ll need excellent interpersonal skills and have a good standard of written and verbal communication commensurate to this role. You will be confident in communicating at all levels and will be passionate about improving what we do.
