Software Developer (Android RxJava Dagger). Would you like to utilise and develop your exceptional Android skills within a technology driven company?
Leading travel eCommerce is seeking a Software Developer to work on interesting and challenging projects within a talented Agile development team. Your main responsibility will be developing secure transactional elements, considering issues around scalability and availability. Other responsibilities will include; building engaging UIs, following best software practises and seeking out continuous improvements.
Based in South West London / Surrey, you will be working in a friendly, informal team environment where you can enjoy a number of company perks including flexible working, casual dress code and Friday drinks.
Requirements:
*Strong Android development skills
*Experience with UI design
*Familiar with design, testing and backend Web Services (REST, JSON, APIs)
*Good knowledge of OO design and development principles
*Familiar with Dagger, Retrofit, Butterknife, AARs, RxJava
*Familiar with Continuous Integration (Jenkins) and Unit Testing
*Excellent communication skills
*Desirable: travel industry experience, knowledge of other mobile platforms (iOS, Windows)
