LSE is a cosmopolitan community in the centre of London focusing on the study of the social sciences. With a centralised delivery model IMT provides information technology and communications services to 15,000 staff and student users.
We are currently looking to recruit a well-motivated individual to migrate the School’s teaching applications to Windows 10.
Candidates should be able:
To produce performance-optimised application packages delivered via Microsoft Application Virtualization for distribution to Windows 10, Windows 7 and Windows Remote Desktop environments.
To develop, through packaging, programming and orchestration tools, sophisticated automated software distribution and configuration that integrates with configuration database systems and self service delivery mechanisms.
To assist in the operation of Windows Server based application delivery and configuration systems including Microsoft SCCM and Application Virtualization.
To operate desktop and application management systems in accordance with IMT desktop policy and IMT change management processes.
To assist in the testing and development of mobile device and application management for Windows 10, including Windows 10 integration with cloud based applications such as OneDrive, Office Online and InTune.
