Proteus Europe is searching for a Disaster Recovery Program Manager for a 12 Month eventually renewable contract role based in Luxembourg.

Languages: English - French is an asset

Your New role :-

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud provider inhousing project support

o Support project activities related to DR for the Cloud provider inhousing project.

o Support transition of applications into the new data centres.

o Ensure infrastructure and applications meet DR requirements per the DR

Service Catalog.

o Lead deep-dive sessions to understand application architectures, dependencies, resources and recovery sequences.

o Work in a matrixed organization and develop and maintain strong relationships with EBCM, Application and Infrastructure Teams who operate out of Toronto and various regional centres (Canada, United States, United Kingdom, Asia Pacific, Australia, Caribbean)

o Promote and execute the DR strategy through relationships and influencing

- Effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders and interface groups using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.

o Prepare and deliver presentations to technology partners.

Support expansion of DR framework and tools for the Cloud provider inhousing project

o Understand and educate project stakeholders on the requirements of the DR framework, process and controls.

o Promote global use of common tools and standardized testing approach.

DR planning and exercising

o Ensure applications in the Cloud Provider inhousing project have up to date DR plans.

o Ensure proper exercising of applications in the Cloud provider inhousing takes place upon migration.

o Conduct DR plan reviews to ensure accuracy of DR documentation.

o Enforce timely recording of application exercise details by application custodians.

o Assist with root cause analysis of DR exercise issues, track implementation of permanent solutions.

o Maintain a consolidated list of issues/risks and action plans to mitigate the risk.

Incident response support

o Support incident response for incidents on new infrastructure and in accordance with DR role in the incident management process.

o Provide issue identification, documentation and tracking.

o Assisting with issue prioritization.

o Coordinating within specific areas of expertise.

Your Skills and Qualifications :-

Essential Skills :-

5-10 Years of Experience:

o Strong understanding of Process Management

Education, certification and designation requirements :

o Post-secondary Degree

o CBCP Certification

Specific professional and technical skills and knowledge required:

o Required CBCP certification

o Required Change Management

o Required Project Management

o Required IT technical knowledge

o Preferred Risk Management knowledge

o Preferred Audit Management knowledge

o Preferred Archer knowledge

o Preferred Agile Methodology knowledge

o Highly self-motivated to project manage and work without supervision independently across one or more active improvements

o Solid sense of where/when/how to delegate appropriate tasks

o Sense of Urgency

o Detail oriented with strong time management skills.

- Must be adaptable to change with positive attitude and able to work under extreme pressure in an area where priorities change frequently

o Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, communications and presentation skills

o Ability to successfully interface with all levels and areas of the organization

o Ability to quantify impact to process metrics and financials

o Keen aptitude in analyzing, interpreting and communicating outputs

o Ability to analyze complex data in order to draw supportable conclusions and recommendations

o Enthusiastic, energetic, and highly driven, with the desire to learn our business
