The role and its responsibilities

You will provide effective leadership and management of the School’s Information Technology (IT) function from strategic development to service delivery. You will develop, implement and evaluate an integrated strategy for the full range of IT services in line with the vision and objectives of the School, particularly in support of teaching, learning and research.

This is the highest IT leadership role for the School. You will establish and execute a School-wide IT strategy, and ensure its alignment with the School’s strategy and the delivery of capabilities required to achieve success. As a senior leader within the School, you will contribute to overall strategy development, bringing a current knowledge and future vision of leveraging IT to help the School deliver its vision.

Skills and experience

You will have demonstrable experience of leading large, cross-functional teams and/or enterprise wide programs, influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organisation and within complex contexts. You will have substantial experience of IT strategic planning, organisation design and development and experience of leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments.
