Develop your skills at one of the world’s leading digital archives. The National Archives is looking for a motivated and creative individual to join us as an Infrastructure Analyst.
We are in the process of implementing our 4 year IT strategic plan which describes the technology approach that will facilitate The National Archives’ vision to become digital by design and ensure our digital services and enterprise systems have a modern, robust technological footing.
About you:
You’ll be keen, enthusiastic, and looking to develop a broad range of skills in IT Infrastructure. The role will be focused on our desktop service including the deployment of hardware, builds, applications and updates. This role is critical to delivering a modern, robust user platform and allowing increased flexibility and mobility in working styles.
You’ll provide a key capability in the IT Infrastructure Team, working alongside colleagues supporting and administering our data centre, virtual and cloud platforms, storage and backup, servers, directory management, messaging and collaboration services and management tools. Adopting new technology solutions such as Cloud Backup, Enterprise Mobility Platform and Office 365.
With your forward-thinking approach, you’ll enable us to develop technology solutions that meet current and future business needs. Your impact will be felt across The National Archives through increased staff productivity delivering better services to all of our audiences.
