Deliver diverse projects in unique locations

You’ll be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a diverse range of projects, which could involve anything from building refurbishments to IT installations, and from risk assessments to critical security work. As well as setting the work schedule for each project, and making sure all the right contracts and resources are in place, you will be expected to identify and mitigate potential risks and find solutions to any issues that may arise.

Throughout all your work, whether you’re negotiating agreements with contractors, contributing to front-end design, or helping deliver the final build, you will always be focused on increasing value for money and on improving the quality of the products and services we deliver to the client.

Test your problem-solving skills to the limit

These roles call for qualified project managers with, ideally, some first-hand knowledge of construction, security, IT installation or estates project management. We currently have opportunities for people with varying amounts of experience. But whatever level you are at, you must be a PRINCE2 practitioner (or have APMP qualifications) and have some direct experience of procurement.

Given the critical nature of the projects you’ll be working on, it is important that you know how to manage multiple stakeholders and can communicate effectively not only with clients but with everyone involved in making it happen. It’s also important that you are someone who can always deliver, even when you’re having to work on several projects at once, and no matter how challenging or fast-paced the environment gets.
