West Yorkshire Police is looking to recruit a Change Team Project Manager to join the Change Delivery team within Corporate Services based in Wakefield.
In this key role, you will influence the future shape and structure of the organisation by leading, managing and co-ordinating projects professionally and effectively. By using appropriate project management techniques, preparing task packages for staff, you will ensure completion to agreed timescales, quality and budget.
Eligible candidates will come with significant experience in developing, managing and delivering corporate business change projects, together with relevant knowledge, understanding and expertise of a wide range of specialist methodologies and techniques.
This role would suit someone with experience of delivering projects in multivendor, multi-geographical environments. You will also have strong stakeholder engagement, management, facilitation and influencing skills with the ability to deal confidently with all professional groups.
The person appointed will have a history of achieving results by leading, motivating, developing and directing staff. Furthermore, you will need experience and understanding of implementing change management methodology to ensure the business is engaged and ready for project go-lives.
You must have comprehensive up to date knowledge of Project Management methodologies with substantial experience in project planning and control, i.e. qualified to PRINCE2 Practitioner level or equivalent, as well as experience of using Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Excel.
In addition, you must be prepared to travel for business purposes and work outside normal working hours if required.
