Pre Sales / Solutions Architect (WAN / Networking) - Home based

KCOM are one of the UK's leading providers of Networking, Voice and Hosted Solutions, to the Enterprise market. We are recruiting for an experience Networking professional with strong knowledge of at least one of the three disciplines below to join our Presales and Architecture function.

* WAN (50-250 sites) and WWAN (wireless wan)

* Hosted Voice & IT Voice

* Contact Centre Technology & Inbound call management/Inbound telephony

In this role, you will be responsible for;

* Providing the customer with their first experience of KCOM's delivery capability, managing the client relationships, managing feedback, ensuring satisfaction and taking ownership of risk.

* Act as design authority for the specification of network related services & products. Provide customer bid assistance to secure business wins as appropriate.

* The design and communication of ICT solutions to KCOMs customers

* Working with KCOM sales teams and customers to guide the choice & design / development of integrated solutions that can be deployed by KCOM to meet the customers current and future business needs.

The role requires a broad technical knowledge of communications services, (Access technologies, WAN, Inbound call management, SIP and hosted telephony), systems integration and the ability to learn new technologies and skills as required.

Experience required:

* Strong broad Networking experience

* Knowledge of WAN, Hosted Voice, or Contact Centre solutions

* Previous experience of solutions design

* Ability to articulate a solution to a client in a confident and reassuring manner

* Ability to work from home and travel UK wide when required (the role is home based with roughly two days travel per week)
