Communications International Group Ltd is an innovative healthcare media company that develops digital learning and communications systems built on a LAMP technology stack.

Due to rapid expansion, the Company is looking to recruit PHP developers experienced in building and delivering feature-rich Internet applications to join our in-house digital team.

We are looking for an individual skilled in PHP & MySQL and with some experience of working with highly-dynamic web interface development (HTML, JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery).

This job entails…

- Translating designs and specifications into functional user interfaces, ensuring cross browser compatibility and performance

- Building, testing and deploying software applications to partner and client-driven development timetables

- Communicating continually with project teams to explain development progress and alerting them to any potential delays/issues

- Maintaining our LAMP technology stack and server infrastructure hosted at Amazon AWS

- Contributing to the continual enhancement of services by suggesting improvements to user interfaces, software architecture or new technologies

You will have…

- A minimum of 4 years commercial developer experience and a relevant computer science qualification

- A current understanding and experience of working with:

- Linux

- Apache

- PHP

- MySQL

- JavaScript, HTML, AJAZ, jQuery and CSS.

- Experienced in implementing single sign-ons and working with 3rd party API’s

- Be well versed in the latest software engineering principles, frameworks and technologies

- Communicate clearly in both verbal and written communications

- Be a self-directed team player who thrives in a continually changing and challenging environment
