Delivering change projects with £multi-million budgets, you’ll lead a team of circa 5 Product Owners. You’ll own a portfolio of Digital & Technology (D&T) Customer, Data and Marketing products, defining and developing a strategic roadmap of continuous improvement for each one. And, nurturing an environment of empowerment, you’ll ensure that everyone in the team is confident in their part in project delivery, and focused on customer and business outcomes.

Your work will underpin our work on customer-personalised and predictive services. For example, we’re working on creating intelligent shopping lists that know what our customers need before they do. And, because we can see all the factors affecting sales, we can advise our farmers which is the best produce to focus on. Basically, whether it’s helping us to get to know our customers better, or informing the produce journey from farm to fork, data drives everything we do here.

You’ll be the face of the D&T division to both our Marketing, and our newly formed Data and Analytics Centre of Excellence (DACE) teams. We’ve recently made a big investment in DACE by bringing the best on board and developing the brilliant people we already have. We’ve built a strong community of doers, thinkers and risk takers with whom you’ll be partnering on a daily basis.

To succeed, you’ll need a keen interest in big data technologies and advancing a customer-focused, data-driven culture. You should also bring commercial acumen and the gravitas needed to work with some of our most senior business stakeholders. And, as you’ll lead your team across a range of complex, highly technical products and platforms, you should be tech-savvy too. Whether your background is in retail, banking, telecoms or even gaming - if you’ve got experience of dealing with high levels of data and the ability to inspire and drive change, this is the place to make the most of your talent.
