Our retail and online worlds are moving ever closer, and as a Solution Architect you’ll be well placed to make sure that colleagues from both sides of our business keep talking and sharing knowledge. An expert in your field you’ll be confident operating as part of a fully-fledged Agile team, working closely with Head of Payments Fraud and Risk, Product Owners, Sponsors and Stakeholders to create simple, scalable and ground breaking solutions for our customers and colleagues in shops across the UK.

You can look forward to meeting people who are passionate about their craft. It’s up to you to gather requirements, shaping and translating business visions into coherent solutions.

This role has a focus on payments so knowledge of payment and fraud systems is an absolute must. It would also help if you’ve had exposure to front-end delivery and development including Javascript, Nodejs and React. We’d also like to hear about your experience with Microservices, VMWare, Puppet, Docker and Cloud technologies.

You will play a key part in the installation of new payment methods such as Android pay or Apple pay. Driving strategic delivery of systems which will feed into our new global platform. In all projects you will be heavily involved in creating the road map for delivery payment gateways, you will need to be resilient and communicative in dealing with your customer base but also agile in methodology.

Ideally you will already be a Solution Architect but we are all about potential at William Hill so we’d be just has happy to consider senior / or lead developers ready to make the leap into a more senior role.
