About our team:

Downstream IT is a key enabler for the continued improvement of Down stream’s business performance and delivery of customer value propositions. You will be joining EPF (ERP, Portfolio & Functions) a team that delivers ERP solutions to our downstream class of businesses - Trading & Supply, Manufacturing, Global Commercial & Chemicals and Retail.

Key responsibilities

Manages the overall integrity of the Trading & Supply design including all related documentation and integration with Downstream ERP system (GSAP) as well as integration to other process areas.

Provide solution design, development, consultancy and assurance to projects, making sure applications are well designed and conform to Shell standards and reference/segment architectures.

Responsible for the solution being developed and implemented until the successful deployment of the solution. This includes being the point of call for all architecture aspects of an IT Project & being able to address and integrate the: Business Process, Data, Application, Technical & Information Security aspects of an IT Solution.

Provides advice on and is involved in detailed design discussions coming from various Stakeholder groups (SOM Support, Process Integration, Process Experts, Process Excellence, Delivery, Business, IT Project Management, Architecture Group)

Approves resolution to Incident Tickets, validation and sign-off of system changes for Trading & Supply related functionalities; Checks and approves application of OSS notes delivered by SAP, where applicable, and provide the deep insights into impact assessment on change.

Requirements

What we need from you?

Previous experience identifying and maturing business IT opportunities.

The candidate should have SAP IS OIL Downstream Knowledge & Skills focused on the following areas:

- Transportation and Distribution / Shipments (Costing) / Transportation Planning

- Stock Reconciliation / Valuation

- Planned Pickup/Unplanned Pickup/Export /TD and SD Shipment process

- Intercompany/replenishment/Returns/Amendment process

- Sales BOM / Rebranding

Proven track record in identifying opportunities for improvement to drive reduction of complexity and cost to achieve business requirements.

Basic ABAP Debugging and understanding of Code, Techno Functional competencies like Basic ABAP Debugging and code understanding is desired.
