Job Summary

Apple is seeking a talented and driven developer to join Apple’s IS&T department during the summer of 2018, on a 3 month internship.

As part of the internship, the intern will be required to carefully plan, build and deploy their own Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality project.

Whilst a project brief will be outlined, the intern will be allocated the freedom to influence the project requirements and make it their own.

Key Qualifications

We are seeking a hands-on, proactive developer with a passion for AR / VR technology, ideally with experience in some of the following areas:

iOS development

macOS development

ARKit

Xcode

AR / VR experience

We expect the role to include self-paced learning as ARKit is a relatively new technology at Apple.

The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, challenging environment and working with multiple teams across regions.

Description

Apple is seeking a talented and driven Augmented Reality / Virtual Reality developer to join Apple’s IS&T department during the summer of 2018, on a 3 month internship.

As part of the internship, the intern will be required to carefully plan, build and deploy their own project.

Whilst a project brief will be outlined, the intern will be allocated the freedom to influence the project requirements and make it their own.

Upon completion of their internship, high-performing?interns will be eligible for full-time offers into Apple's IT Development Program (ITDP). ITDP is a two year rotational training program that offers a completely customisable series of assignments within IS&T. Upon completion of the ITDP, participants leverage their training in advanced roles within Apple IS&T.

Education

Must be currently enrolled in a BS/MS/PhD program in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Design, or related fields. Must also return to school after the internship to continue education or an internship must be required for graduation from your school.

Additional Requirements

This role is only available to students enrolled in their penultimate year of study, who will graduate and be available to begin full time employment in summer 2019.
