Job Title: Change Manager

Location: Edinburgh

Salary: £23,400 - £29,310 per annum

Job Role: Full Time, Permanent (37 hours per week)

Reports To: Incident & Process Manager

Our Client are the lead body for Scotland's historic environment; a charity dedicated to the advancement of heritage, culture, education and environmental protection. They are at the forefront of researching and understanding the historic environment, and addressing the impact of climate change on its future. They investigate and record architectural and archaeological sites and landscapes across Scotland and care for more than 300 properties of national importance. They have a People Strategy which will be an overarching strategy to which ensures they support and develop staff within the organisation.

Working within the IT Service Centre team, the successful post holder will manage all day to day IT Change Management activities. Liaising with the business and internal IT colleagues the post holder will manage, monitor and drive IT Change Management processes and procedures to deliver an efficient and effective service. The post holder will also have day to day responsibilities to manage: the CMDB - ensuring the data is up to date and fit for purpose and Knowledge Base - managing articles/guides and ensuring they are up to date, relevant and available to the appropriate target audiences. There are currently no line management responsibilities required of this post.

Knowledge, skills and experience

You will be required to demonstrate that you meet the requirements and qualifications as part of the selection process.

Essential requirements:

* Knowledge of ITIL framework, ideally qualified to Foundation level

* Experience in IT Service Delivery or similar process driven environment

* Excellent communication, negotiation and organisational skills

* Experience of IT Change Management

Desirable requirements:

* Excellent MS Office skills

* Experience chairing meetings

* Experience of working with project management methodologies (e.g. Agile or Waterfall)
